# Connectors limitations and roadmap

> Review what Connectors don't support yet and what Datum is building next.

[Connectors](https://datum.net/docs/connectors/overview.md) are still being built. Today, the only Connector is the Iroh-powered [Tunnel](https://datum.net/docs/connectors/tunnels.md), and its first use case is the [Desktop Apps](https://datum.net/docs/desktop-apps.md).

## Planned capabilities

* **"Anywhere to anywhere" tunnels**, beyond exposing a local environment to the internet.
* **Developer connections**, such as Tailscale tailnets and WireGuard VPNs.
* **Telco connections**, such as AWS Direct Connect, Equinix Fabric, and Megaport onramps.

For what Datum is building next across the platform, see the [Platform roadmap](https://datum.net/docs/platform/roadmap.md).
