February 2026 - "Blankenbaker"
54 years ago, in early 1971, John Blankenbaker released what is regarded as the world’s first desktop (or personal) computer: the Kenbak-1. Only about 50 were made! As we ship Datum Desktop, it only felt right to honor an early example.
