Questions we hear most often
Hopper (H200), Blackwell (B300), and Blackwell Ultra (GB300). B300 is where most current requests are landing; earlier generations remain available where supply and workload make sense.
We work across established hardware vendors (think Dell, Supermicro, Lenovo, Cisco) plus data center operators from Tier 1 through to single-tenant builds. We help to manage the technical and commercial aspects to ensure a smooth deployment.
Current-generation racks (like the NVL72) run at power densities that go beyond air-cooled environments. In this case, liquid cooling (direct-to-chip or rear-door heat exchange) is a requirement rather than an option. That’s why site selection is as much about a data center’s cooling readiness as its geography or economics.
InfiniBand is the easiest way to stand up a cluster but it is more expensive and locks you into a single vendor (this can mean long lead times). Ethernet is an open ecosystem, which brings a lot of choice. We can walk through the trade-off during scoping.

It depends mainly on GPU availability, whether you need liquid cooling, and whether an existing facility already fits or needs retrofitting. Obviously, deploying into ready capacity at a qualified site is far faster than standing up new capacity from scratch. As part of the sales process we’ll develop a firm timeline and be transparent about where the risks are likely to emerge.
A hyperscaler rents you shared, multi-tenant capacity. A Datum cluster is built and dedicated to you: GPU generation, networking, cooling, storage, and location are all chosen to fit your needs and economics. In other words, this is a white glove service for serious providers.
By default we handle day-to-day operations (e.g. monitoring, incident response, lifecycle management) so you don’t need to build out an ops team just to keep the cluster running.
